FAQ’s

What can be treated with the Ultrasound cavitation system?

The system allows professionals to offer safe and cost-effective treatments that include cellulite and fat reduction, skin tightening and fat melting.

Who is suitable for Ultrasound treatments?

The treatments are safe for most patients, but always consult your doctor if you are unsure. People with cardiac and vascular diseases, pacemaker carriers and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding may be at risk and should not undergo the procedure.

 Is ultrasound cavitation painful?

Ultrasound cavitation is completely painless. Mild redness may appear on the skin after treatment. The equipment’s hand piece emits a very low heat that is similar to a hot stone massage.

Is ultrasound cavitation a safe treatment?

Yes, ultrasound cavitation liposuction is the safest way to remove fat. There are surgeries or need for anesthesia, it is non-invasive (which means no cutting, scars or the need for any post-operative course) and there is no painful recovery period to endure after the treatment is complete.

Which are the areas where treatment is most effective?

The areas of the body where fat accumulates – thighs, abdomen and buttocks – are the most requested treatment areas but there are no limitations on which areas of the body this treatment can be effective upon.

Are the results of ultrasonic cavitation similar to those of liposuction?

The results are better than those of liposuction. Ultrasonic cavitation is the only other method that dissolves fat completely, but unlike liposuction there are no risks of side effects.

Fat is a solid substance, how can it be eliminated through the urinary system?

Ultrasound cavitation causes the emulsification of fat, converting it into a substance the urinary and the lymphatic systems can eliminate easily.

Are there any diet restrictions to follow before or after undergoing ultrasound cavitation?

A low calorie diet and plenty of water before and after the session are suggested. Drinking water is a necessary step in the fat elimination process. Regular exercise such as walking or other aerobic activities should also be maintained in order to help your body to naturally process the fat after the treatment.

How much time should elapse between ultrasound cavitation sessions?

The body eliminates the fat of single a session in approximately 3 days, so we recommend an interval of about 72 hours between sessions.

How many treatments are necessary to achieve the desired results?

The exact number of treatments will vary from patient to patient. Typically the patient will need anywhere from 3 to 12 treatments depending on the fat that is being removed. For skin tightening, anywhere from 3 to 12 treatments may be necessary, with intervals of 48 hours between treatments.
